Are you a student that's a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior?
Are you willing to help others in a friendly, helpful, and supportive manner?
Do you have basic computer skills?
Do you take pride in performing tasks completely and accurately?
If you answered "yes" to all of these questions then you can qualify as a volunteer for the VITA Program!!!!
The VITA Tax Exam is now available at https://www.linklearncertification.com/d/. You can go on at any time and take your certification test. Remember, with the VITA program, you can be certified at the Basic and/or Advanced level. You must be certified at one of these levels to prepare taxes through the VITA program. To pass this exam, you need an 80% on all three parts to achieve Basic Level.
If you participated in the VITA Program last year, YOU MUST PASS THE EXAM THIS YEAR TO PARTICIPATE IN THE VITA PROGRAM!
For your review, we have provided you with several attachments that will assist you with preparing and taking the certification tests. We have attached the publication 4491, which is the VITA Training Guide. This book will assist you with studying the tax law. We have also attached a copy of VITA Informational Session PowerPoint presentation. This presentation will walk you through all of the steps for studying for the exam, learning how to use the software and where to go to take your certification exam.
